Speaking of all things Beatles, picked this up from a dealer with the jacket intact.

Huge fan. Second favorite artists behind Bob Dylan. My favorite song is "It's All Too Much."

I'm glad I was able to check all boxes simultaneously as I feel the Beatles are the sum of the whole. That said, I will always consider the Beatles as my favorite band and their music classic and timeless. 50 years and still going strong. I have too many favorite songs, and they change by mood, time of day, and day of the week.

It's a great book, chock full of rare pix. For me, the only drawbacks were 1) it's so fracking big that it won't fit on a shelf (standing) and you can only read it sitting at a large table; and 2) I hate it when they obscure text with arty displays (unreadable yellow text over black text, red text over pictures, etc.). If it was available on computer and one could do color or overlay separations, that last problem wouldn't be a problem. But still, like I said, a great book!

I never understood how big it was UNTIL I tried putting it on a shelf. You got that right square on!

My fav Beatles is George with Sir Paul a close 2nd. While I understand that the McCartney-Lennon duo is the base, I've always preferred Sir Paul's melodic knack. And for me the Harrison sound is a pretty big factor in the total Beatles experience.

Hard to choose A favourite, but went with Paul due to his solo stuff and his Wings material. Don't get me wrong though, I love me some Lennon and Harrison solo too!

My favorite Harrison solo stuff has to be "My Sweet Lord". Loved Billy Preston's tribute version during "Concert For George".

I voted for all 4 because it's difficult to pick one. Paul's economy of words on albums like Revolver is amazing. I love Lennon's edge and his songwriting prowess is on Paul's level. It's hard not to love Harrison's work because of the passion he brings to anything he does. Plus, I dig his Indian-inspired work, too. Ringo is the human metronome, he brings levity and my god can he drum (The End ).
