The extended cut doesn't really add that much to the film anyway, and on DVD it was handled via seamless branching. Don't see why the same couldn't be used for Blu.

I liked the extended version myself, but I've read previously that it was handled poorly with bad transitions and poor audio quality for the extra footage. I don't know if there's any truth to that, but I did enjoy the extra character development.

I've only seen the extended version on cable tv, all the commericals always ruin the movie. I own the original cut of this movie but if they ever release the extended cut i'll pick up that one also. One of my favorite movies of all time.
