As long as there is a line there and it used to be connected to either Telstra or Optus they can use a code on the line to reopen it and they cover the charges to reconnect the line. There is an option to buy a modem with them or pay it off as you will need a VIOP compatiple modem.

The BOB phone is pretty cool and it also acts as the Voip Modem/Router and if you buy that it will give you a reduction off the setup fee. All in all I have been with them almost 8 years and I have only ever had 1 major drop out which lasted 2 hours. Every sunday morning the internet seems to reset or something sometime in the morning but other than that go your hardest and pick a plan.
