Man I hope they announce this soon. Wanna watch it again but didnt buy the Theatrical one.

If I had to guess, I'd say it'll come out in November sometime, like the Lord of the Rings extended editions.

Of course, in a perfect world, it would come out even earlier but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Sounds like a whole different film. May have to actually buy this extended edition.

There were a couple extra shots of him weren't there? It's been a long time since I've watched the theatrical releases but I didn't think he was there at all in those.

Why are people wondering when its coming out since it says in that above link it will be about 1 month before the next movie.

The new scenes sound great. I wish they'd confirm the exact amount of extra footage (the current rumor is 20-25 minutes).

I guess I'm the one person who proves that wrong. I loved the Goblin King (not so much on the first viewing but definitely on subsequent viewings) and thought Barry Humphries did an incredible job. So more of him of more and his weird song? Welcomed by me.

Agreed! He really gave his character part a soul that was touchable in a world of generic Goblin hordes.
