NO, it comes signed with the autographs.

Can I ask why? You're paying at most (since we don't know what 1428 will charge for shipping) $13 for an insane number of autographs.

Can wait to see who all the guests will be.
I wrote in the note box that they should use both sides of the cover.

Good idea! Wish I would've thought about that. Actually I'd like all the autographs on the inside, but I'll take whatever comes my way. This is shaping up to be very nice collectible!

So purchasing this release from Dark Delicacies guarantees a signed copy, by 30+ people? Is there a deadline for ordering?

Turns out the deadline for ordering is today.

They've just put up a notice on the site that wasn't there when I pre-ordered yesterday that anyone who pre-orders after midnight tonight goes on a waitlist instead of being guaranteed a copy.

Dark Delicacies doesn't charge your card until 2 weeks before the event, so I would pre-order now if you have any sense that you want this item.

Thanks for that man! I didn't want to spend any more, just bought that Elm Street set yesterday, but since they won't charge my account, I got time to. I was wondering if they'd cap this event.

I'm going to put in my preorder now then for DD because that's too good to pass up and 13 extra bucks WELLLLLLL worth it for anyone remotely a fan of the series. PS...the artwork...outstanding!

Update;
ordered and have my confirmation!!! So stoked about this!!!

I agree and that's why I'm kinda adverse to getting it buried in signatures. I don't even know how it's possible to fit 25-30 on there. They'd have to use the front, back, inside... and make sure to keep their signatures pretty small.

Just ordered now.Even if i get stung on customs thats too good a price to let it slip.Echo some on here though, hope theres a poster like NSA.seems alot of sigs on a blu-ray cover, tho it will still be awesome, btw, does anyone know if there will be some sort of trailer for this,i remember Heather Langenkamp did a teaser for NSA.
Do DD usually ship straight away after a signing event?.

I've never seen any of the Friday the 13th franchise Although I'm a horror fan through & through, I love the Halloween movies! What I'm afraid of is I would not like this as much as Halloween, b/c I'm really not a fan of slasher/gore movies, I like subtle horror more(I did not think Halloween had that much slasher/gore to turn me off).

This doc would be a blind buy for me(I'd have to decide before midnite, though), would it be worth it for a 1st. time watcher IYO? I think the deal w/auto. is great!

In the past, my items have shipped the day after the signing, but with this many orders it may be a few days. Regarding squeezing all the sigs on, as I speculated earlier, they may be spread out across the three covers, and/or on the inside booklet/chapter listing (if there is one) and discs themselves. It would be literally impossible to put 25-30 signatures on one BD cover.

Exactly.

I tend to wonder if the same folk who find $43 a crazy price (including shipping) would have just feinted on sight had they ever bought a laserdisc. New titles were $30 minimum on discount (retail usually $40 or $45) and if it had a commentary, trailer, and a few extras on an additional disc it would be $99 retail.

It's amazing that an independent production like this was made in the first place, it's doubtful even if they sell out of every copy they produce they likely will end up breaking even on costs, especially when you consider all the countless man hours this took.

For the same retail price, and $13 shipping (yes, a bit high if you are used o Amazon, but for an independent store like this is certainly not out of the ordinary), getting the 4th bonus disc, and on top of it all getting the thing autographed by everyone at an exclusive signing event that the majority of us would have no way to get otherwise.

If you just don't care, that's fine - but I can't see any universe where that isn't a good deal. 11 hours of main content (I count the extra four hours of interviews as main content - it certainly was the most interesting part of the already very-interesting Never Sleep Again), an autographed copy on DVD and Blu by 25-30 crew and/or cast (I'm sure most very minor, but still very cool), and priority mail shipping.

It's a pretty incredible opportunity, IMO. Figuring that the regular website charges shipping, it's doubtful anyone is really paying $4-5 more for the autographs. Sounds good to me.
