great post, I never watched ''Girl Next Door'', now you got me intrigued ! If you haven't seen it I recommend you ''Enter The Void'', it's from the guy who made Irreversible (Gaspar Noe), quite a unique movie, not scary or provoking like the others mentioned but it's worth a watch. For ''Irreversible'' I think you forgot to mention the whole beginning, especially the fire extinguisher scene . The whole music|sound in the opening sequence is so stressful. I truly hope this movie will get the Blu-Ray treatment soon.

Ketchum's Girl Next Door will make you want to jump through the screen.
It's an emotional rollercoaster. You will go from laughing, to being horrified, to breaking down in tears.
Even more tragic that its a true story.
