Here are the ones that I've seen from your above list.
  • ...And God Created Woman
  • L'Avventura
  • Bad Sleep Well
  • Brute Force
  • Carnival Of Souls
  • Drunken Angel
  • L'Eclisse
  • Elevator To The Gallows
  • Les Enfants Terribles
  • Eyes Without A Face
  • I Vitelloni
  • Jules And Jim
  • Knife In The Water
  • Kwaidan

  • Lord Of The Flies (even though the Blu-ray is coming out soon)
  • Lower Depths
  • Most Dangerous Game
  • Pandora's Box
  • Picnic At Hanging Rock
  • Spirit Of The Beehive
  • Virgin Spring

These are all quite superb, and I want Blu-ray updates of all of them.

Which one do I like best?

Carnival of Souls is bringing in the lead! L'Avventura is close behind, though, and may pass Carnival of Souls on the next turn! Pandora's Box is right there in the fold as well! Uh-oh...Brute Force is running strong now, and it's just caught up with all three in the lead. All four are going fast to the finish, and it's going to be a close one! But...wait! It looks like Elevator to the Gallows is speeding up at the final stretch! Elevator to the Gallows has caught up with the four in the lead! They're almost at the finish and... and...
Elevator to the Gallows for the win! Elevator to the Gallows has the win!

Thanks for the input! I was sort of thinking about watching The Kid and La Strada first followed by L'Avventura, L'Eclisse, and Elevator To The Gallows.

Assuming The Silence is Bergman's film, that is my suggestion. One of my all time favorite films. George Washington as well, David Gordon Green used to be such an immaculate talent. There are quite a few here that I haevn't seen, but really want to (City Lights, Andrei Rublev, Cleo from 5 to 7, Pickpocket)

Yes it is the Bergman one. I was interested in seeing his Trilogy but never bought the DVD.

I've heard great things about George Washington, as well as the Agnès Varda films, so I figured I'd add them in.

You should check out some of the films on Hulu Plus. You get a free week.

You don't really need to worry about watching the trilogy in order, in my opinion. I watched The Silence first. It's a very loose trilogy.

I'll probably be getting a Hulu Plus subscription after I work my way through some of my unwatched stuff.

Oh excellent. I wish they would have included Lola on Hulu Plus, as they have the other two BRD Trilogy films.

Hey people, anyone got an opinion on Broadcast News? Haven't seen it but I've seen As Good as it Gets, which Brooks also directed, and I really like it so this one looks pretty interesting to me.

Has anyone else seen Before the Rain?

I own the Criterion DVD but there is no BD of this film available.

I think its a pretty good movie actually.

The opening music is pretty melodramatic too.

Don't forget about Jacques Demy's Lola (1960). It's one of my favorite French new wave films

I had bought both that and Exotica, but I was really only interested in Exotica.

According to CriterionCast, David Cronenberg's The Brood and Scanners have both been added to itunes by the Criterion Collection.

I like it quite a bit. Actually, I think there is a contingent of us that really like the movie. It also has a good deal of rewatchability, which is a plus.
