Third, steelbooks: dent, ding, scrarch, chip, slice, etc just as easily as metalpaks. As you pointed out the only difference between the two is the spine. Again both have their disadvantages. Steelbooks can have the spince off center, peeling off, or both. Metalpaks take just a modicum of skill to open/close without any problems...at least in my experience. Steelbook has certainly done what they can to abolish any other metal case in the US. Which is why I'm always happy to see other metal case puchasing options. Having too many options is never a bad thing. But that's a conversation best left to the grown ups, methinks! ![]() |
