Your favorite Tom Petty song and why

Seems poor Tom Petty doesn't get much recognition here even if I know many really like him.

My favorite has to be Running Down a Dream, reason being that with my old band this was one of the few that were reserved as encores and I'd let go on the solo for as long as needed, great memories

About an eon ago, I was watching Saturday Night Live and saw Tom perform Running Down A Dream and it blew me away. I said "I'm getting THAT album!"
That album and the one that followed were perfection, imo.
I'm not all that familiar with the older albums but have heard all of the singles.
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have waaayyy too many great songs for me to pick just one as a fav, but some standouts for me are American Girl, Runnin' Down a Dream, Listen To Her Heart, Don't Come Around Here No More and You Got Lucky.

They're awesome and I should play some of their tunes and get back into them.
