Just judging from the specs on the first post of this thread, the OVA's and the bonus features are together for disc 14, meaning that this can either go two ways: the bonus disc can be a DVD with the OVA's plus extras or it can be a Blu-ray. It's also worth pointing out that a separate OVA Collection will exclusive for DVD only according to RightStuf and is coming out the same day like the DVD and Blu-ray complete series:

However, it's worth pointing out that the separate OVA Collection has a new audio commentary but none of the ADV extras, so the likelihood of it being Blu-ray is high. I guess we'll have to find out once it comes out.

It was confirmed over on fandompost.com that all discs in the Blu-ray set are Blu-rays.

Not sure if I trust Rightstuf. What's their return policy? I'd prefer buying from Amazon and hope they lower the price before release date I think.

RightStuf is a great place to buy to purchase anime, they ship very quickly, have great customer service and have great prices. Also, if you preorder anime from them, they would ship it weeks in advance before release day. The return polity is here:

http://www.rightstuf.com/rssite/cust...Authorization/

Also on the side note, Sentai Filmworks acquired 10 more anime from Tatsunoko Productions. My guess is that they're the ones with the Blu-ray remasters like Gatchaman as we saw in that trailer:

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...oko-production

One of them is the original Casshern, the other ones haven't been announced. I'm hoping that Speed Racer is one of them.

OVA stands for:

Original
Video
Animation

Basically, they're anime projects that are made directly for DVD/ Blu-ray and not shown on T.V. stations in Japan. In most cases, the animation quality for these production improve drastically compared other anime that aired on television weekly.

Wasn't going to get the Gatchaman blu, but after watching the trailer reanimator linked to, I've added it to my "to get" list. The PQ looks amazing!

Original Video Animation. (Also known as OAV). Engrish for "direct to video", from days when such a distinction was more necessary.

The Gatchaman OAV was a reboot, and a one-off....but well received.

On rightstuf, this is their listing for this set:

Age Rating - 13+ (More Information)
Date Available - Oct 29 2013
Genre - Action/Adventure/Science Fiction
2770 Minutes
Format - Hybrid
Media - Blu-ray Disc
Product Availability - Pre-Order, Not Yet Shipping (More Information)
Publisher - SENTAI FILMWORKS

Can I ask what "Hybrid" means under format?

Also, it's by SENTAI FILMWORKS - will this be the same quality as the current Japan blu-ray set? Do we know if we're getting any artwork or booklets included? The ADD DVDs were very nice quality - can we expect these to be good transfers? I'm not familiar with these Anime companies so does anybody know anything about SENTAI FILMWORKS?

And does anybody know if Rightstuf charges your card immediately when pre-ordering or only when it ship out? Can you cancel a pre-order if you need to? Sorry for the questions but I figured someone in here might know these things.
