My £13 pre-order is still there. They have to honour it.

I ordered Hannibal on 17th May for £14.22 and that's still there. They won't cancel it, just like they won't cancel Enterprise Season 2 for £21.82.

Jusuv22 is right, Amazon can cancel, however, i am sure they look at the circumstances of any price error before deciding to or not.

I think Amazon honour the misprice most of the time unless you order multiple copies then they will cancel all but one.

The Nightmare on Elm Street box set was being sold on Amazon for about £14.99 around Christmas time. It went back up in price after a few days and it's never been cheaper than that since then. I wouldn't mind getting for £17.99, but just know that Amazon would probably lower the price again, a week after I buy it.

It also depends on how many people spotted it and ordered - when they had the Silent Running steelbook for £3.99 it led to a huge rush of orders. Amazon cancelled everyone who has pre-ordered after the price error but allowed those who had pre-ordered it beforehand to keep the cheaper price as part of the price promise guarantee. Considering that's a fairly big loss for them I'd say that was fair, especially as those who ordered it after the price drop (including myself) were only ordering it because of the error.

But, as it's worth saying again because it's such a strong, mistaken belief that shops have to honour mispricings - Amazon do not have to honour them.

Maybe the Hitchcock Black Friday deal but nothing really sticks out.

No they don't. What they normally do though is, as a good will gesture, let these kind of deals slide. I've got Hanniball for £13 too. I've had pre-orders where they've been cancelled by Amazon a few times, where the price difference is about 90% cheaper than it should be, or someone has put a decimal point in the wrong place. With this though, they're still getting £13 from us all, the mistake was corrected quickly minimising the loss, so they'll let it slide.
