I'm at the part where he's starting to skim-off-the-top of the product in the new lab. The kid just can't stop making these boneheaded decisions.
He's not a snake. Something you'll realize. He's a junkie and has the problems that come with a junkie, but he sticks by Walt's side even after him and Walt have a falling out he is still willing to kill and die to protect Walt. That is hardly a snake.

Agreed. "Peek-a-boo" and covering for his little brother show his true colors.

Yes, Pinkman is the heart of this show. Best character development.

did you guys hear that the spin off show "Better Call Saul" is in serious talks right now? It could begin airing as soon as summer 2014. Vince said he isn't revealing whether or not it will take place before or after the BB series. - because Saul could die in the final episodes.

Hopefully after so maybe they can have a cameo or two from other cast members lol

Also, a marathon event is coming in NYC.

AMC‘s Breaking Bad hits the home stretch of its Emmy-winning five-season run on August 11, and to celebrate the network has partnered with The Film Society Of Lincoln Center on a week-long celebration in NYC. Starting July 26 and running until July 30, FSLC will screen each season in order at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center with tickets free to fans on a first come, first served basis. On August 1 and 2, showrunner Vince Gilligan and star Bryan Cranston will be joined by Anna Gunn, Betsy Brandt, RJ Mitte and Bob Odenkirk in a Q&A presenting their favorite episodes at the Walter Reade Theater which will also be streamed online. The celebration is also conveniently timed to Emmys voting season. Here’s the schedule breakdown:

Long Cook: A Breaking Bad Marathon, July 26 – July 30

Screening Venue:
The Film Society of Lincoln Center
Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center, Amphitheater, 144 West 65th Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam)

Friday, July 26
Season 1 (7 episodes), 5:00 pm
When straight-laced high school chemistry teacher Walter White is diagnosed with terminal cancer, he forms a crystal methamphetamine cooking operation with his former student, Jesse Pinkman.

Saturday, July 27
Season 2 (13 episodes), 12:00pm
One step ahead of his DEA-agent brother-in-law Hank, Walter begins to capitalize on his life of crime as its insidious effects on his wife, Skyler, and his partner, Jesse, begin to reveal themselves.

Sunday, July 28
Season 3 (13 episodes), 12:00 pm
Joining a more advanced drug-dealing operation headed by the ruthless and enigmatic fast food entrepreneur Gustavo Fring pits Walter and Jesse against their most sophisticated enemy yet.

Monday, July 29
Season 4 (13 episodes), 12:00 pm
With Hank closing in on Gus, Walter does everything in his power to ensure not only his survival but also his ultimate victory.

Tuesday, July 30
Season 5A (8 episodes), 5:00 pm
As the Breaking Bad saga draws to a close, characters begin to reach the limits of their criminal morality.

I'm not doubting how loyal he is to Walt so far. However, a lot of people he's close with has either left or is dead mainly because of his mistakes.

He's a junkie. People that run with him that is their choice. Jane made the choice to walk into that bedroom. She's an adult and a former junkie. They both made mistakes and are both equally responsible. And don't forget the major part that Walt plays in all this. He set all this in motion and could have saved Jane.

Just saw the season 4 finale. Did Walt do what that ending implied? Cause that is some evil manipulative shit.

I found this explaining how it went down.

[Show spoiler]
Quote:
Walter has Saul Goodmans bodyguard take the ricin off of him (when he pats him down), knowing that Jesse will put 2 and 2 together to think that it was Walt (which it was, but hold on). so he knows Jesse will think Walt poisined Brock, so he will come to kill him. but then Walt uses this to his advantage, making it seem like it was Gus who poisined Brock, and that Gus is trying to pin it on Walt so that Jesse will kill him. so that is why Walt took the ricin even though he didn't use it

now, he poisins Brock, so that he can turn Jesse against Gus by telling him it was Gus who poisined him, so that he will be able to use Jesse (who Gus still trusts) to kill Gus so that he and his family will be safe

I mean I get why Walter did it, but its so messed up that he would do that to a child regardless of his goal.

So how many seasons are people rolling back to get re-familiar with what happened are people going? I'm thinking end of Season 4 and the first half of 5 should do me well...

imo Jesse will sacrifice himself to save Walt from Hank and Walt will have a "breaking good" moment where he feels like the world doesn't owe him anything anymore and then he'll give himself up and go to jail

A new teaser?! I need to see!! I figured they probably would use the Walking Dead 4th marathon for a preview. The first official preview is supposed to premiere during The Killing either tomorrow or 7/14.
