Agreed. At least 90% pf the JB Hi Fi NZ sales are pathetic when compared with Australian or UK sales. Very frustrating.

Yeah ridiculous, I saw in the The Warehouse catalog that there is 25% off titles over $12.

Yup, standard operating practice unfortunately.

That's why JB's recent 2 for $20 sale was so good - you had stuff that was normally priced at $15 or $20 included in it. I'm checking the prices of some of the Blu's I chose NOT to buy and I'm pretty impressed by some of the bargains that were on offer.

Now I just need them to drop the price on the likes of Avengers, Capt America & Skyfall...

Don't have that much time on my hands to keep an eye on their non-sale pricing unfortunately!

But they don't have a tangible price tag on their non-new releases most of the time anyway, you're reliant on the scanner for the final price most of the time.

I've just back from the warehouse and saw that they have a lot of cheap British import Blu-rays for sale in the bargain bins and around the shop, some as low as $6 I've grabbed some good bargains

JB is having a sort of unofficial Ghibli blu-ray titles sale.

With the exception of "Kiki's Delivery Service", and "From Up Poppy Hill" ($30).

Other titles such as Arrietty, My Neighbour Totoro, Nausicaa, Laputa, Ponyo, Tales from Earthsea have all been knocked down from the usual $38 to $25.

This puts it far cheaper than it normally is, even with their 20% off.

Madman have the same, ended up getting Laputa, Nausicaa, Earthsea, and Whisper of the Heart from them.

Orders over $35 have free postage as well, and the titles are 3 cents cheaper than JB
