I haven't looked at Sudden Death yet, but Universal actually didn't screw up Hard Target with a shit load of filtering. Bizarre, lol

Wake of Death was released in Germany, and I think in two different editions.

Is the German blu-ray of Bloodsport any better? I got the 25th Anniversary version which is just the film in a single layer BD and the only extra is a crummy trailer. Talk about disappointment lol.

Not the new uncut release, advertised as the Black Edition.

Also this shot http://www.caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergl...=381#vergleich you can see the gate in the back, but on the dvd version you wouldn't even know that it's a gate.

I think fans will be satisfied with the Black Edition.

I've got it and it is just about ok. I'd say 2.5 out of 5.0 on PQ tops. Unfortunately it does look like an upscaled DVD. So yes it's better than the DVD but not by huge leaps and bounds. It's a shame because its a great DTV movie. It comes with just a trailer. The Featurette on the region 2 uk dvd if you can call it that, has not been ported over to the Black Edition Blu-ray.

Plus you get an extra 3 minutes added onto the run time of the film of course but I haven't worked out where they are yet compared to the DVD.

One extra bit involved a drill...

I might check the black edition. Sounds a bit iffy PQ wise though.

That's based on screenshots. I have hopes that it looks better in motion.
