Awful film that should be forgotten. Or, they should at least change the name since it isn't the real Godzilla. I'm thankful they are staying close to the original Japanese film for the new reboot.

So true. I saw this in the theater when it came out and it sucked then, has sucked on dvd and will continue to suck because it sucks. Just my opinion of course, I do own the dvd as I like to laugh at it and remind myself of how wrong it is now and then. No need to ever upgrade it, unless I can get the Blu for free like the dvd was.

If you've never seen the original Godzilla, you have no idea what you are talking about. The original is a dark and powerful film.
