I don't have a Facebook account so I'm relying on this forum for an update on the announcements.
Hope there's some good titles being announced.

I'd say be here in about 5hrs time, and info should be rolling in.
I know I will, after the wife made me watch Sharknado last night!!! I'll be loading up a cooler with ice and 6-pack and camping out in my mancave!

That's marriage folks: Compromise!

It'll probably show up here first anyway, but you don't need a Facebook account to look at Shout! or Scream Factory's pages. I don't have one either and I check it religiously.

Honestly, this makes the most sense. It was clearly earlier they were looking for a distributor and talking with one. I can't recall Cliff outright denying involvement. This would be amazing.

In five hours time it will be 3am here and I'm up for work at 5.30am so I'm guessing it's a night of anticipation for the morning.

Definitely. You'll probably have a few pages to skin through, but there should be some good info!

Lionsgate has it. So probably not, as there is no clear or direct evidence of a deal being in place other than some speculation. So, no.

But next year Lionsgate might, to coincide with the release of their remake that is 100% happening, being produced and cast by WWE Films.

I'd be all over that shit. Bring it on. Special features dream list:
- All new HD transfer
- Warwick Davis and director Mark Jones commentary
- Origins: How "Leprechaun" came to be
- Behind the scenes
- Retrospective on a franchise that created a cult phenomenon with interviews from cast, crew, and critics
- Warwick Davis interview
- Jennifer Aniston - A Look Back on her film debut in her first leading role
- Interview with cult film favorite Mark Holton ("Pee-wee's Big Adventure", "Teen Wolf", "Teen Wolf Too", and 2003's "Gacy.")
- Interview with Ken Olandt ("April Fool's Day" & "Summer School")
- Theatrical trailer
- TV Spots
- Contest advertisement that aired prior to the film on the VHS release

And I don't believe any deleted scenes exist but if they did, obviously I would want them included.

By the way fcuk that noise. WWE burn in hell for this one. No Warwick Davis in the lead role is blasphemous.

Well I wouldn't say there is no chance, there definitely is a chance if they made a deal with Lions Gate which with the evidence mentioned earlier there is definitely a possibility, even if it is a small one.

There are only so many movies left at MGM and Universal (And many of them they have turned down) so they need to make a deal with someone else, especially if the have 40+ titles coming out next year.

Sadly. Yes, a midget wrestler named Hornswaggle who isn't even good enough to be featured on their Monday night programming. And he doesn't have the voice for it like Warwick.

You thought "The Hood" entries tainted this franchise? This is an all time low. I can only pray to God, this doesn't mention or relate at all to the REAL "Leprechaun" franchise.

From recent news they are completely abandoning the idea of the previous films that he is an actual Leprechaun. Wtf?!

So, I'm trying to process this. This movie will still be called "Leprechaun" or something like that right? But the main character who is suppose to be a Leprechaun, won't be? So what are we getting? An evil dwarf? A scientifically mutated freak of nature? Or simply a wrestler in make up try to act?

I wish Scream/Shout would get a hold on these movies:

- Escape from New York
- Dawn of the Dead (1978)
- No Retreat, No Surrender
- Suspiria
- The Return of the Living Dead 1-3
- The Crow
- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
- Django
- Darkman
- Bloodsport
- Bride of Chucky
- Fright Night (1985)
- Kickboxer
- The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh
- Blood and Black Lace
- Night of the Living Dead (1968)
- I Know My First Name Is Steven
- Cut
- Leprechaun
- Class of 1984
- The Baldy Man (TV Series)
