So now when i need to go in there (almost never) i just tilt the sub forwards to open door ... Both are on opposite corners of the room. I popped in War of the Worlds (dts DVD) and the bass was so much that i actually thought people miles away would hear me. I then popped in Star Wars 3 (the intro right after the beginning credits) when that space battleship slowly zooms by all you hear is bass. I actually needed to put some thin weather stripping around my door to stop the darn thing from shaking. The ceiling lamp above me probably has to go seeing that it rattles like crazy.

Among testing 20Hz and above sound amazing. The sub was capable in playing the 17-19Hz i played (using old school Audiophile CD tester), definitely felt the waves, at 16Hz there was a noticeable port noise, but during movies this would be masked. 15Hz or below i honestly couldn't hear or feel anything. Regardless it plays 4 times as loud as my previous JBLs and plays much lower notes cleaner.

I am a happy customer and now part of the PSA family. Also lots of thanks to Tom for helping me out.

Door treatment. The vibrations finally STOPPED, now to figure out what to do with the above lamp
You're exactly like I am, can't sleep until everything is as it should be. I bet your HT is a kick in the shorts with those bad boys!

haha i know, and i had to work at 8AM as well. At least when i got home the next day it was all clean and ready. I popped in the classic U-571 depth-charge scene for more testing and comparison (on the old Toshiba HD-DVD player...yes HDDVD lol), my goodness, never have i felt such bass. "DEM LOW FREQUENCY WAVES"

Good thing about having no kids and being single living in a single home is i can run some bass test at whatever time . Oddly enough i have the urge of turning it down because i think "Agh too loud i'll wake the neighbors", which is next to impossible to do as the HT room is buried underground and the home surrounding me are quite apart grom each other.

Next upgrade will be to a 3d projector and bigger screen (106" to 135"). My Mitsubishi is 720p, but never had an issue, performs great. I'll move on with the upgrade once the bulb on this one burns out (probably another year or so as i only watch Movies i have never seen here with the combo of good sound, or when there are guests and requests a Blu-Ray or HD movie). I never watch comedy movies in here, i feel that it is a waste of projector hours, that or i am just weird.

Do your klipsch blend well with your psa subs. I want to upgrade my speakers that will blend in with dual psa subs? Both in looks and sound.

Hello folks, sad to report after a week, one of the BASH amps died, no more power to the amp. PSA is sending a replacement after a few tests here and there; my best guess, with low failure rate, I probably just got a lemon. As with all electronics, these things happen.

But when a company is known for great customer service, these things are not much of a worry

Mid range/high range speakers, matching matters. Low-range (a.k.a. subwoofers) you can mix and match brands all day (unless if you are trying to physically match its look together). Having mutlitple subs you want to have same type/brand.

Now as far as power; with the power of my Klipsch's output and the PSAs it greatly blends in. Just make sure to calibrate your system and adjust sub gain accordingly.

That sucks, for sure, but Tom will take care of you. The last thing you need to worry about with PSA is an Epik (pun intended) failure.

Hey, what's up Josh?

No, the Ultras are safe and sound at home. The XS-30 is going to be used as my third subwoofer and it will be installed right behind my couch (back wall).

I really cannot wait to have it at home and re-calibrate my whole system. I'm trying to keep my expectations low, but to be honest..............is very hard not to......

Hopefully is should arrive next week...........

Hi all,

We recently received news that we will not receive our Power-X 15" driver shipment for another 10-12 days. These were originally scheduled to arrive in early July but have been delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience it may cause. As soon as this shipment arrives we will do everything in our power to fulfill all back orders as quickly as possible. We realize this is not the update everyone wants to hear but we also want to keep everyone "in the loop" so to speak.

I am pleased to report that my replacement amp came in, swapping was plug and play and BOOM!

I can now listen to my favorite band play, 1023MB, it's to bad they haven't had any gigs yet.

Its going good, that should be great, just don't expect the XS-30 to go as loud in the deep bass as the PB13Ultras.
