Cliff said they passed on Night of the Demons.I think that would have outsold most of these titles.Scream will have plenty of great titles left to announce,of that im sure.

Night of the Comet was PG13, as was Dungeonmaster; The Evictors

This is why Cliff originally stopped posting on the thread, guys. Please. Please. Pretty please! Stop with the negativity! We don't want to drive away our only insider.

Forgot about Night, but if we're being technical, Dungeonmaster is on a DVD and The Evictors is an extra - unless I've forgotten something else, all of their main-line Blu-rays other than Night have been R or unrated.

Touche. It doesn't have to be R to be a good horror movie, though.

Also, Amityville 3D and Swamp Thing

The only one I'm hyped about is Darkman, but I was hoping for a Darkman trilogy set. Darkman 2 was just as good as the 1st and part 3 was fun. Maybe if Darkman sells good they will release Darkman 2&3 as a double feature.

May get Saturn 3, but will skip the others.

Thankfully Synapse seem's to be picking up steam at the end of 2013 and into 2014 with Demons 1& 2 leading into Prom Night and Curtains.
come on now... do you really think POLTERGEIST III would sell more than CAT PEOPLE???

Oh, well. I guess I'm just a Negative Nancy.

If you're buying them all anyway, then you're just reinforcing their behavior. I personally only think "Cat People" will join my collection, and that's only if it gets the Collectors Edition treatment. Nightbreed is a maybe. This is pretty small potatoes compared to what they rolled out with Psycho sequels, Day of the Dead, Swamp Thing, The Fog, etc.

Still, at least there's one I'll hopefully get. Annette O'Toole...meow!

Yes. But he went away for some months last time when people started complaining. We should be happy with what we have and wait for other announcements to be sprinkled upon us in the near future.

I certainly agree, but if we're looking at overall patterns for Scream, than R or unrated fits the bill.

And, of course, the titles in the Price box. Well, okay, all individual-release, main-line titles then. In any case, Poltergeist III would never be picked by Scream and if it were, would not be a big seller at all, much less outsell any of the titles revealed to this point. I feel pretty confident in that non-empirical assertion.

Edit: Gah, and Swamp Thing! Damn them and their lack of an international cut, which keeps forcing me to amend my sweeping statement!

I'm excited beyond words about the news of Cat People (1982) in 2014. This is huge, and I cannot wait to see a good high definition treatment of the movie.

John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 is one of my all-time favorite movies, and I have loved it since seeing it on cable channels during my childhood in the early 1980s. I have doubled-dipped on every subsequent edition of this movie via VHS, DVD, and, most recently, the Image Blu-ray. If Scream Factory brings some new goods to the table, as I'm sure they will, then sign me up again.

"I wanted a vanilla twist."
SPLAT!

Hahaha.

Such a great movie.

She has, and I state this without any explicit sexual connotation or sleaziness, the sweetest, loveliest lips I've ever seen on a screen. She's great in Smile too. Now that's one I'd like to see Shout get a hold of.

Sure It wasn't what we though, but who's to say that stuff isn't coming down the line.

In circumspect, I'm excited. It just took about an hour to kick in. Haha.

YAY!!
