You would not have enough resources to play the game in single player, and thats before even talking about trying to start a multiplayer game.

Its hardware intensive, uses alot of the cpu power performing mathematical calculations that are extremely complicated and processor intensive.

you can throttle the pc version, i see no reason why you couldnt do the same for the ps3
