Default Adding new UV movies

I have been adding UV movies from my collection based on the profile under Theatrical (Movies) that allows you to create the various profiles. However I have a number of new UV titles that exist only on the DVD tab but not the master. How can I create these under UV? Some examples are Beethoven's 3rd, 4th, 5th.

If there isn't a theatrical entry, you'll have to create one for the movie before you can create a UV entry for it. To create a theatrical entry, you need to use this page:
https://www.blu-ray.com/products/?c=...ion=addproduct

After your submission is approved, you'll be able to create a UV entry from it like you have been doing.

I am curious how the DVD entry was created then with no Theatrical page. There are a lot on my list that I would like added that already exist there. Is there a way to create the Theatrical entry from the DVD entry?

It's just the way the system is set-up. You can create a new DVD entry from any DVD page via the 'add new movie' option. Same with bluray entries. However, if you click the 'add movie' option on a UV page, you'll see a message directing you to go to the theatrical. I have no idea why theatrical entries are required for new UVs but not for new DVDs or Blus.

You can't create a theatrical from a DVD entry. You have to create the theatrical from scratch. However, once the theatrical is approved, you can enter the movie's master id into the DVD page (thus linking the two together).

Note that you don't have to fill out all the info on the theatrical form. If you just want to enter the movie's name, you can.
