Why not just put it all on one disc? They can do that these days.

Tyler, the only 'comprehensive' report on the quality and content of the 3D clips shown at Comic Con came from Fred Topel from Crave. I wonder if he discussed the disks in this release in any detail?

But he's pretty much said that both the 3D and 2D disc are getting a new transfer. Fox probably realised how bad the UHE transfer is and that loads of people hated it and decided to have another go at remastering The film. They fixed Patton so it's a possibility.

I wonder if John McTiernan has been approached regarding this release?

I still don't have Predator on BR yet since I'm pretty satisfied with the DVD upconvert, but I'll get this if it's good.

Now I think you're stretching. As much as there is leeway in his statements, you're edging toward conspiracy-theory levels of deception on his part in terms of his phrasing. Maybe I'll turn out to be wrong but at this point I'm pretty comfortable with guessing at what he's saying.
