Received my 'Swamp Water' Blu today in the mail. Really nice art and insert/disc art. Glad to have it. Want to watch it next week when I'm off work. Also, tracking shows my 'Leave Her To Heaven' Blu will be delivered tomorrow!

So Arrow just annouced The Fury for October in the UK with a ton of special features. Wonder how the PQ will be compared to Twilight Time...it says on arrow's site Brand new digital transfer of the film from the original camera negative. http://www.arrowfilms.co.uk/index.php?tle_id=808&art_id=44

It will be interesting to see if it looks better because I honestly don't think the TT disc looked very good. It's the one disapointment out of all the TT films I've bought.

Yeah there is no doubt the TT release could have been better, while it was an upgrade from the DVD it still left something to be desired. I too will be interested in seeing how Arrow's edition looks, if it comes from a newer scan then I'm sure it will look better and if that is the case I will double dip, no problems there.

Well if it is a different scan and it looks better, then it will either prove what I thought originally after viewing it..that what ever sources they used for the transfer were not in the best shape...or if it still looks about the same that I was wrong and that the film image just came out bad during production/post production.

If this is coming out so soon after the TT release though I'd assume it's the same transfer, because TT has been preaty good about waiting and pushing release dates back for the best transfers (like Major Dundee) on films they put out. I would imagine if Arrow's is a newer better transfert that TT would've waited for it, and put that on the disc instead.

Yeah that is a good point. You're right it probably will be the same transfer.

Probably the same, but stranger things have happened.

I almost bit on the TT but now I'm glad I didn't. Arrow has also just announced a limited edition BD of Texas Chainsaw 2 that includes a 100-page book and two of Tobe Hooper's early films for October!

Question for the TT experts. I ordered LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN along with a couple other titles so I could get the free ONLY GAME IN TOWN blu with my BODY DOUBLE pre-order. What happens if LHTH sells out before BODY DOUBLE'S release day? (Currently it's at 478 at Screen Archives.) Will they hold my copy for me? Thx.

The good news is that I received my copy of The Driver today.

The bad news is that it arrived in this condition, with a cracked case and a damaged sleeve...

The disc itself appears to be in perfect condition, as does the booklet, so I simply put everything into one of my Dynex replacement cases.

Who at Screen Archives Entertainment should I contact about a replacement sleeve and a replacement case?
I'm going to look up Customer Service for now, but any ideas on how to streamline the process or about a specific contact would be appreciated.

I know that this is nothing life-threatening, and that it's not exactly a crack in the Sistine Chapel, but it's also not what I paid $34 for.

Yes. They subtracted one copy from the total number (when you ordered), right?

Anyway, there's definitely more than 500 copies remaining, because they haven't made any kind of annoucement yet.

This happened to me with As Good As It Gets. I think I emailed with Chris from SAE. He sent me a replacement case.

This is exactly the reason why I alway try to order 3 TTs at a time. That way they ship in a box instead of a bubble mailer.

Thank you! I just sent an email to orders@screenarchives.com, as that address was included on the shipping email if I had questions about my order, but I should call as well.

I searched my email, but I no longer have the correspondance as it was a little over a year ago.

If I remember correctly, I emailed the info@screenarchives.com email and Chris responded. I think his email is Chris@screenarchives.com.

I explained the problem and he sent out the replacement case.
