There really is no right or wrong answer. I have the Pioneer Elite SC-65 AVR. Love it. I've listened to these and have preferred THX Surround EX only because I feel that my rears are more defined. However, BIslander is right. It's all about what you prefer.

Some say anything over 5.1 is overkill. That's not my opinion, but everyone has their own listening preferences. You just have to find what yours is. Keep playing with the settings.
