Film should never be made to look like anything but film. To make it look like video destroys the very nature of it being "film".
Film has a texture made of tiny grains of emulsion. That's what it IS. If people don't like grain in movies and can't handle that it's there, I suggest that they stick with a medium which is well-known for it's grain masking abilities. It's called DVD. |
