monoprice.com banana plugs
You plug your speaker wire into the plugs, and plug the plugs into the receiver. |

Do you mean Banana Plugs? They just make it way easier to connect and disconnect your speakers from your receiver.
And I wouldn't recommend using the plugs from monoprice. They are really cheap and flimsy, but you get what you pay for. |

Good for you - you don't like other opinions????
If you look at the construction of your banana plugs, you can see that they will be subject to fatigue over time because the metal is flimsy, where the one that I posted will not because the construction is completely different. |

I assume what you really mean by banana fatigue is Rotting Bananas. Watch this video and make sure you do not use them on your receiver. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfeBh8ITkxA |

using monoprice solder banna plugs and they are working fine-just use as a screw type though...has a illustration on the monoprice website. Boy they seem to be of high quality and a 1/3 of the price of other retail places I shopped around at. Let me know if I should dis-connect everything and throw out the banna plugs, I would not want to "fry" my $8500 dollar investment.
