Right. Because the Fugitive won't be either.

That's a rare instance in which they specifically mentioned a remaster. Otherwise, Warner Bros is notorious for releasing and re-releasing (and then re-releasing some more) the same BD in different packaging. All I'm saying is don't get your hopes up.

Exactly.
Fugitive, while I'm quite pleased they did a new transfer, is the exception, unfortunately...not the rule.
Especially when talking about steelbooks, as they are almost always just recycled discs.

just curious, if they do use the above cover art.... why is the rabbit suit white?

Looks like both this and Elf have been listed on the Walmart site.

Oh man, not liking that Christmas Story artwork. Do you know if these will have rear/interior art as well?

That's seriously an odd choice for cover art on ACS. Really hoping they end up changing that, but it is unique. And somewhat fits the themes of the movie. But for those (God forbid) who've never seen this, they would mistake it for a cheesy kids Western Christmas movie worthy of ABC Family channel airing...

Since it's not remastered, I'm just going to keep it sealed.

This title was released on SteelBook on Nov 9, 2013 for everyone else.

Unless you are confusing this with CHRISTMAS VACATION.
