Are these version the same as the UK releases?
Yes, the Aussie releases are typically identical to the UK releases. Same transfers.
However the Aussie release of Arrietty contains both the US and UK dub. Unique to that release I think.

Cool if you want both but personally, I think the US dub sounds awful and hate that they changed the ending to
[Show spoiler]a happier ending. The original ending was ambiguous and worked much better like that.
The UK dub just feels more appropriate and is better done.

Great news about Porco Rosso! Can't wait, as it's the first film I ever saw in the theatres, and the old DVD looks awful on a HDTV.

I don't have much time to scan them individually, but here's a shot of the reverse covers of the local Ghibli titles I have.

I'm not a fan of US anime dubbing in general, I'm curious how they changed the ending specifically? I only have the original release.

Madman have now added Grave of the Fireflies to their November line up.

Cover art is not final and the release date is set for the 20th of November

These look great except for Arriety - strange choice of art, and not the Japanese movie poster like the others are

^ Yeah, I agree about Arrietty. It's the only one in which I leave it in its original English cover art, because they used the theatrical artwork in that one (which is much nicer), and it did have much nicer typography compared to the others.

I left out Tales from Earthsea by accident, another beautiful piece of artwork.

Amazing. Wish we had them. Tat could be a job for someone with time - get them printable and use able?!
What's on the back of the reversible covers?

My scanner is old, but I could start scanning them colour-correct them when I have time if there's enough interest.

The back is just what the normal backing is, with the same images and blurb, but sans the disc specs, barcode and ratings logo.
