-Red Sonja
-The Sentinel

These aren't my top of the list choices (The tales from the Crypt movies along with some of the other Wes Craven stuff would be there) but they seem to fit with the more recent announcements as they still fall into various sub genres and aren't likely to get releases elsewhere in the near future.

On a different note, I know Scream Factory has utilized the MGM and Universal catalogs thus far, has anyone heard if they've worked out agreements with any other studios? Even if nothing has been announced, I'd be curious to look through these other catalogs just to see what could be possible releases in the future.
I have the UK release of Red Sonja, pretty good Blu-ray. Bad film in my opinion. Region free too.

Cat's Eye and Red Sonja are with WB, now. Beastmaster is with some other company (Echo Bridge?).
Oh ok, thanks for the info!

Yeah it's been years and years since I watched the film, it's not exactly high on my list of Blu ray's to own, but as I sit and scratch my head trying to figure out what the heck SF is going to announce next, those caught my eye as potentials... but scratch those off I guess.

Red Sonja is just trying to cash in on the Conan money. Fun movie but complete crap. The Sentinel is a fave of mine and I hope that Scream does release it. It gave me serious nightmares for weeks after I first saw it.

I agree he even wears a headband similar to Conan in Conan the destroyer which was made a year earlier.

Corman had nothing to do with the actual film, it was just distributed by his production company.

Yeah although Cat's Eye was an MGM film. It is distributed by Warner from Turner Entertainment/AOL Time Warner.

I wished Scream could get it too. The dvd features are ok but it needs the original deleted Prolog added.

What happened in the prologue? Also, what features did the DVD have, aside from interactive menus, subtitles, and trailer?

True. New Concorde was a little fast and loose with their "Roger Corman..." labelling on their DVD releases. The Nest was actually a Julie Corman (his wife) production.

As long as their putting 80s and 90s stuff out on DVD/BD, howsabout Scream Factory starts putting out some shot-on-shitteo fare? Put out an experimental double feature of Death Nurse 1&2.

Just so you know, I'm kidding. This is quad pack potential at best. Also, I have no idea who owns it.

The prolog was a scene with a mother using a machine gun to kill the cat because the troll took the breath of another kid before the first segment. If I'm remembering it right.

It had a commentary with the director Lewis Teague who also directed Cujo. Although not much it was a really good listen and more than I would have expected for it.

Was this seen by you, mentioned by the commentary, or read in a script? It's a cool thought but not necessary at all.

Digging that Swamp Thing cover. Wish it had a nice slip to go along with it. I really need to consider Amazon prime.
