Walked out of the first Silent Hill. That was just boring crap. I better thing to do then sit there and watch that garbage... Almost walked out of Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones.. Decided to stay and just laugh at how bad that movie was.

Terrible cliches... or if the movie is generally bad then I'll turn it off. Makes sense, right?
As for the cliche thing, I turned off Gangster Squad after Josh Brolin gets home to his utterly cliche worried pregnant wife and she lectures him on how he needs to be more safe on the job and yada yada yada.... I saw exactly where the movie was going, so I shut it off. Show me something new. |

I can pretty much sit through any movie, nothing really shocks me. But what I can't stand is boring ass poetic "like" movies or depressing ones.
The thin red line ( I was expecting something like Saving Private Ryan) Holy crap, no lie I saw this in the theater and I saw plenty of people getting up and leaving. I stayed because of the principle of paying for my seat and making it through this crap. The Fountain Hugh Jackman is a great actor, but this is by far his worst movie ever. This sucked hairy balls. I had no idea what I got myself into when I went on a date to see this in the theater. Lost in translation I thought because it had Bill Murray it would be funny, oh how wrong I was. I'm surprised a lot of people like it. This movie gave me diarrhea. The Happening M. Knight hasn't done a great movie since Unbreakable, Devil was ok, but the Happening shows the lack of respect he as for his audience. I went with 4 other people and all 4 fell asleep. Leaving Las Vegas I almos slit my wrist watching this. Man was this depressing. I'll never watch this again. |

I hate walking out of movies, but one movie made me almost do it...The Host. There are bad films, and then there's The Host.
I usually do research on a film to garner interest before I'll partake. I just can't get any kind of desire to see anything that starts with "Tyler Perry's". I might be missing out, but oh well. |

I turned off Gangster Squad. Too much pointless violence and general cliches. Same thing with Good Day to Die Hard. Last year I almost walked out on Battleship in the dollar theater after the pre-credits sequence involving the whole chicken burrito gag, but I stayed because my friends were with me and we decided just to roast the movie for the rest of the running time.
![]() I have yet to walk out on a theatrical exhibition because I spend my money carefully and only go to films which have gotten good reviews or that I'm sure I'll like. I stay far away from M. Night and Tyler Perry movies. IMO those guys are worse than Michael Bay and Paul W.S. Anderson. |
