So far no delay has been announced, so it looks like just the signing.

I'm good as long as it arrives sometime in October. I need it for my Halloween viewings. Now if it gets delayed to mid-November or later? Yeah, then I might be pissing my pants with anger.

just got off the phone with her. she said they're looking at a friday night in September. So we either have the 6th, 13th, 20th or 27th. It'd be cool to do it on the 13th.

If there's a delay, I hope they use this time to pop the second half on a second BD50.

Yeah, if they're pushing it back to a month with a Friday the 13th, I can see it being released on that day. Given how little info we seem to have been given about the delay, that may very well be the reason

That would be a pretty lame reason for a two-week delay if true - someone at the last minute just happened to glance at a calendar and said 'Oh, wait! There's a Friday the 13th next month! Let's release it then!'

Again, this is a small company. If they were to do that, the price would have to go up another $5-$10 to cover costs. People are *****ing about the price as it is. Chances are slim to none.

As I have very little cash to blow on these kinds of things, having a couple extra weeks is actually a relief...

Yeah, I really don't see what the big deal is here. It's just a few extra weeks. Who cares? It's still coming. As long as the signing happens, that's all I care about. I'll get it when I get it. Patience.

Hey, I never said it was a good reason. I guess to add to it, maybe there's some kind of manufacturing delay or something (especially since like other's have said doing something like adding a disc would drive up the price, and they're borderline enough as it is and they know it), and that date, if it is the one they choose, would be like, "well, we're closing in on it anyway, let's go for it"

So just to be clear here, because I'm having a hard time understanding where all this speculation is coming from... one person claims that because the signing has been delayed this means the Release of the full documentary has been delayed? Never mind the fact that neither the official website nor the facebook page has any mention of it.

Maybe the signing was delayed because not all cast members could be in attendance or another event was scheduled for the same day that conflicted. As it stands now there is no reason to assume this release is delayed for those of us that ordered it from the official site. If you chose to order from somewhere else then who knows when you'll get yours, but as of 1:27am CST on 8/7/13 this release is still being announced as coming out on the 27th of August.

+1 I think they would have said something on there site or at least on their Facebook page. I can't wait for this to come out and if it was delayed hopefully would come out same day as the box set and that would be sweet.

The poster who first mentioned the delay wrote that the Dark Del employee said BOTH the release and the signing were delayed. Perhaps the delay will be announced tomorrow?

I will say, the fact that they were recording the commentary so recently struck me as odd. Shouldn't the discs be finalized by now?

I took this to mean that orders from dark del would be delayed until after the signing has taken place.

When you say the signing is delayed, that automatically means orders will be delayed. The only reason to say the release itself is delayed would be to explain why the signing was also delayed.

Very simple, hopefully someone on CLM will respond on Twitter soon and let us know.
Why the hell rely on Dark Delicacies when CLM has their own site and contact information?

Absolutely correct. This is all getting out of hand and hopefully they respond officially.

Not quite... it is perfectly normal and it will be perfectly fine with today´s encoding capabilities.

I don't know if this would be taken as a hint (by everyone) that the whole release is delayed a bit, but on the CLM documentary Facebook page, Justin Cruse just posted 23 hours ago that the doc just left his "edit bay... It's on its way to final mix and assembly. 400 min beast of a movie."
