Wendell, I read your query in quickly passing through Ruined’s *sister* thread on AVS. Your observation is correct, the annoyance with camera panning (and object motion) is a real problem for 4K when it exceeds a certain threshold and is more a function of frame rate rather than display device (as was proposed to you on AVS).
