If you don't mind watching dvds, how about some classical omnibus horror films from Hammer/Amicus?

1. Asylum (Good)
2. Dr Terror's House of Horror (Fair)
3. From Beyond the Grave (Good)
4. Tales that Witness Madness
5. Torture Garden
6. The House that Dripped Blood (Fair)
5. Vault of Horror (Fair)

That's all I can think of right now.

Good suggestion. One of Bava's best! I recently purchased this from Arrow and the transfer is excellent.

The Theatre Bizarre
The ABC's of Death

I haven't seen either of them, but Theatre Bizarre looked cool and it's on my Netflix instant queue. Hope those help!

Rod Serling's Night Gallery - more "horror-based" than Twilight Zone, although I loved them both. A must-see is the episode "The Doll" from Season 1.

Haven't watched all of Masters Of Horror yet. Favourite episodes so far are Cigarette Burns, Imprint, and Family. Overall really strong anthology series... but can be very dark.

Saw that a while ago. I've always loved the first two movies, but #3 is pretty awful. Watch at your own risk.

Grim Prairie Tales

I stumbled across this movie a couple of decades ago on late night Cinemax or some other such channel. James Earl Jones and Brad Dourif stumble across each other in a prairie out on the old West, and exchange stories over the campfire.

It's nothing groundbreaking, but I remember liking it a lot. It's a really offbeat and unsettling 1990 film.
