I wonder if there'll be a double-cover case for The Cat Returns / Ghiblies episode 2, like the Japanese DVD had.

According to disney.jp site, the audio/subtitles are:

Howl's Moving Castle had its English title on the cover too (due to it being based on a book by an English lady).

Not sure what the reason for it being on Cat is though. It looks quite cluttered.

Mononoke looks pretty poor too, would have been much better with the wolf and San.

So did Earthsea. But both of those are based on foreign works, so it makes sense. In the case of The Cat Returns, your guess is as good as mine...

Mononoke is awesome, but The Cat Returns? Not really bothered with that one.

I've said in the past that Mononoke and Spirited Away would be ordered from Japan no matter the expense. I've just put my pre-order in.

I'd predict Kaze Tachinu released in June and Spirited Away July or else both in July and Takahatas new one out on bluray later in the year with the film about himself and Miyazaki making the films docu and no Ocean Waves and no shorts lol.

It'll probably end up a special feature on some other Ghibli disc. Which i have no problem with since we'll be getting Spirited Away earlier!!!

It will be interesting to see if they choose to make it grainy-looking like the movies before it, or grainless like the movies after it.

It sure is strange, but so is the fact that they've decided to make one of the Baron's ears a negative on the silhouette. Looks really bad.

I think everyone should order Pom Poko from CDJapan in November. I predict that there will be a first press item with it (A movie poster for Princess Kaguya) just like how I got one for The Wind Rises with my order of Porco Rosso.
