I doubt that . In fact, I can state with 99.9% certainty that it is not within 1,000 of selling out.
After The Fury the next sellout will be The Driver.

For fans of musicals, Shani Wallis has agreed to sign copies of Oliver TT (from Kimmel's blog via TT FB)

Yes! I knew that the next signing promotion would be worth the wait.

I might pick up Alamo Bay soon, which would be my first Twilight Time title (I'm waiting for pre-orders to start on the expanded Poltergeist II score album before I buy anything).

By the way, did anyone get the autographed release of The Driver?

I'm curious about Alamo Bay. I'm usually on board for Louis Malle and this is one of the few I've never seen. Murmur of the Heart and Atlantic City are particular favorites.

I love the variety of projects he directed, but this seems to stand out tonally, from what I know about it. Have you seen it before or would it be a blind buy?

I saw it some years ago. A strong film from Malle and it's always nice to Ed Harris's earlier work. But I can see why it flopped at the box office.

I believe the Blu-ray will have Ry Cooder's score isolated on a separate track so that's also a plus (along with the fact that I don't think it ever got a DVD release so this is the first disc release of it).

Only 2 autographed copies of The Disappearance left! (or as they like to call it in the listing, THE DISAPPEARCE!)

Is this is the longest an autographed Blu-ray has lasted so far?

I don't think TT ever had signed copies of The Driver. They did have Walter Hill sign some copies of the Hard Times blu ray, but those sold out fairly quickly.

That must have been the one. I knew Hill signed copies of one of them but I was thinking it was The Driver.

The annoying thing is that horror fans still think Twilight Time put the blue tint in there on purpose and insist on blaming Nick Redman (a great score album producer, by the way) and his team for it (Twilight Time was only involved with putting the title on disc and had to use what Sony provided). When you look at the cinematographer's other credits, you will see that his work is in art films and music videos and he likely did it because he thought it looked cool at the time.

Horror fans can be useful in small doses but most of the time, they come off as entitled and pompous because they don't always get their way.

Can anybody speculate on when TT is going to release Used Cars and if its going to sell out real fast like Christine / NOTLD? I would greatly appreciate any info or input.

I don't know of a date but it should be available for a while. Horror titles are the only ones that tend to sell out quickly.

I'd like to know a little more about ALAMO BAY before taking the plunge and making a blind buy. The synopsis sounds intriguing enough but what kind of film is it in terms of style? What other film(s) does it compare to best? Ed Harris is a great actor and elevates anything he's in (except for this year's PHANTOMS ). I'm guessing the film is a straight drama with maybe a little bit of action thrown in?
