Is the BLU ray with X-Ray / Schizoid still ok or is that release being changed?

It's a different "Schizoid" so no worries about the double bill.

I've just watched it for the 1st time today and gotta say i really enjoyed it.Its got all the staples of the sub-genre at the time and never dragged to me.X-ray ive seen before and i enjoy that too.Would really like to see more of these kind of double bills from scream in the future(though with a few more extras like TV&TVD)

Completely agree. My only problem with the release was that didn't get the royal treatment in terms of special features. Couldn't they do something with the Schizoid director? Barbi Benton? The list goes on and on... A bit disappointing to say the least.

Yeah,if they find it hard to find participants they should at least bring in someone to do a commentary like an Alan Jones type of deal. J A. Kerswell who did the teenage wasteland slasher book would have been ideal for this release.

I share both of your sentiments, I mean I wasn't expecting "The Video Dead/TerrorVision" caliber extras but commentary or something. It's the number one thing I always look for in a release as far as bonus materials are concerned, a commentary track.

"Scream Factory" you still have my money here, but I think you could've done just a little better.

I love the double bills ,but with TV/TVD, they stacked those films with a great list of special features that they could have been released individually and I would have been happy but this new double bill leaves just a little more to be desired.

I thought XRAY was pretty campy - Barbi Benton sure didn't go to acting school, but she is just beautiful beyond words (with clothes on too). The gore was fine, the story was alright, easy an entertaining B slasher movie. I wasn't into Schizoid as much as the first time, maybe I wasn't in the mood to watch it or was just tired last night, it was dull in some spots. the ending is cool though...I bought it for Schizoid originally since Xray was a first time viewing...now I think its the other way around..

Anyway, tomorrow is Friday and we all know Scream still likes to announce things on Friday so I am guessing we will hear about those 3 new titles coming tomorrow.
