Just saw "Street Kings" today... - Blu-ray Forum

I got two words for "Street Kings": BAD...ASS! The movie was well-written, Keanu Reeves was dynamite, even Forest Whitaker surprised me with his performance, and seeing Hugh Laurie in the movie was a real treat! And in this movie, Keanu has more than made up for the disappointing "Matrix Revolutions"! Anyone who hasn't seen "Street Kings" yet should go see now! You won't be disappointed! Intense and action-packed all the way!

I saw this on opening night, and I have to agree that I thought it was good entertainment. Certainly for those who like gun play..

Why picking on him for Revolutions? If you're going to pick on him for Matrix movies than also point out original Matrix too, he was in it... Blame the directors for messing it up not the actors, he played his role.

Now, Street Kings is great, I enjoyed every minute of it, good and strong and most importantly well played characters, lots of good action too... I'll probably own it.

All right. The way I see it, Keanu was good in "Revolutions". I'll give him that. But it still wasn't the best movie that he ever did. So maybe I can blame the Wachowski brothers for messing up a good thing. It could've ended with a bang. But I will still love him in the first and second Matrix movies forever.

sorry but the terrible dialog and over dramatic music at certain scenes ruined the movie for me

Im still mad about there mass marketing campaign they placed flyers on everyones car but they spelt everything with z's and gang slang words.

The flyer ended with StreetKings coming soon to your area...

Some folk thought it was a new kind of gang informing everyone they were
going to move into our peaceful city.. really scared some folk, they made no mention of it being a movie or a rating or anything.

I hope it makes it to Blu-Ray. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be because it's produced by a smaller film division of Fox. It opened number #1 this past weekend so that's promising and the studio's most successful film, Juno, was just released on BD as well.

yea i heard it was good but sure as hell didint earn much

it only collected like 12 mill at the box office and winner was Prom Night which got 22 mill i think
