I saw Lou Diamond Phillips pop up last night on, of all things, E!'s The Soup, and it got me thinking of a title I'd love to see Scream Factory do: 1990's The First Power. Have no idea who has the rights, but I remember really liking it back in the day.

MGM has The First Power. And it's a strong possibility, seeing how Shout did Eve of Destruction (another Orion/Nelson production).

It's all that's left to do, really. Cliff stopped posting here so all people can do is throw out random titles and talk about other movies. Until there's some real news on new titles this thread is going to be on moratorium

I stand by my prediction of the first Sleepaway Camp film as one of the three mystery titles. A good bet for another is Motel Hell.

Yeah, Amazon's currently on my sh*t list as well. Somebody needs to start a thread with places to buy Blus online that can actually get them to you in great condition. Sheesh.

I do wonder if Amazon has started tossing the slips to avoid 'damage in transit' complaints, though. My copies of Halloween II and III were slipless as well. I guess its good I always lean towards the reverse-side original art?

More often than not everything I get from Amazon has a slipcover. My Halloween 2 did, but I got it a month after it came out. Maybe they just run out?
Halloween 666, the "producer's cut" of the movie? Isn't that kind of a hodge podge of video, almost a workprint of sorts? I could see that as a bonus feature, but I wouldn't buy it alone. I did a Halloween marathon when Rob Zombie's remake came it, so its been a few years since I watched up to part six.

Yep, according to the Q forum here and other places. I'm sure it's just the first pressing though.

I Bought Halloween II just last week from bestbuy.com (19.25 shipped) and it included a slip. 9.0/9.5 out of 10 on the overall condition.

Yeah I mentioned that a few pages back. I'd assume the release could be a double disk. The main disk would be the theatrical version with disk 2 being the producers cut in the best quality they can source for it. So if it's 4:3 and in 480i, so be it.

Dolls has been shot down in the past, but I'd love for them to release it. Otherwise I'm going to have to import the overpriced Japanese release

Poltergeist 2 already has one. Poltergeist 3 has been turned down due to low interest (on the parts of Cliff and Jeff).

I had already returned 3 Halloween 2s because of no slip was finally told that there were no slips except for the first pressings. So I decided just to take one without one I can't watch the slip anyway

Has Cliff posted since Comic-Con, if he has I've missed it. Just curious. I'm sure the dude is pretty busy though right now.

Well that makes me feel...dirty.

Now I have the urge to re-buy and return my open copies claiming "defect!".

...I can't believe I just typed that...
