I picked up my copy today and I'll be starting it tomorrow. I'm very excited to see how it plays.

Played through.

The game really truly does work either way you want to play.

You can run and gun or knockout everyone or just slip past everyone.

Michael Ironside is missed. I will say that much.

It has controls that are similar to most third person games.

Controls won't be an issue.

I'm early in the game but I'm really liking it so far.

I'm also early in the game, but I can already say this is one of the best stealth games of all time. Almost as good as Double Agent and the Metal Gear Solid series.

A lot better than Conviction.

The story is very engaging, and the gameplay is quite an upgrade over Conviction.

I agree! I thoroughly enjoyed Conviction, but Blacklist is so much better. Also, Metal Gear Solid is my favorite series of all time.

Killing/knocking out on the move is a dream come true. So badass.

Way more to do then conviction added stealth compared too it but still retaining the free flow moving Sam unlike any of the other splinter cells

I'm really enjoying it.

I just finished the solo campaign. I need to go through the co-op missions now.

I'm giving this game a 9.5.

Is there a new game plus option after you've completed the campaign?

I'm not sure what you mean by "game plus." You can do co-op missions after you completed the campaign, yes. I didn't bother checking them out while I was playing the campaign.

The game ended with some sort of a cliffhanger. A sequel is guaranteed.

This game can be had for $45 shipped through gamestop.com . Not in store though at your local gamestop store though.

I haven't played any of the past Splinter Cell games and this one has been getting mixed reviews from what I've seen on Gametrailers, IGN, and on Rev3 Games.

Also with GTA V coming out in 3 weeks I still have a couple games in my backlog to play to keep me busy for the time being.

After completing the campaign some games allow you to start the campaign again while keeping all the upgrades you acquired the first time through. They often refer to this as "new game plus." Dead Space gives you this option.

I'm loving this game. I loved Conviction too but this may be even better. Maybe, I'm not sure. I'm not yet done. The screen tearing is pissing me the eff off. Other than that, just awesome.

Following up on my own question here, but after some Googling it appears there is no new game plus option on this game for anyone else who might be wondering.

The Grimsdottir and Kobin side missions are some of my favorites parts of the is game.

The Isaac briggs missions would be a LOT better if they werent so damn glitchy.

I have not been able to complete the hospital mission due to final sequence screwing up.

Yes, there is a game plus option.

After you've completed the campaign, you can still choose to play old campaign missions on the map, and you still have your latest upgrades.
