It made me crave the MGM film Jack's Back, which Scream Factory should definitely get in their next deal. Its a modern Jack the ripper movie about a guy copycatting him on the 100th anniversary of the murders.
I would LOVE to see Scream Factory (or anyone, for that matter) put out Jack's Back on Blu-ray. Remember really liking this film.

So... I hope that the announcement(s) is/are tomorrow. Knowing my luck, it won't be until next Wednesday.

Weird, I can't seem to find it on Amazon Instant. I have prime so i'd love to watch it for free, but when I type in Jack's Back, it doesn't show up. Any ideas on how to find it? Thanks!

I alphabetize all of my hi-def movies with the exception of a series, which are in chronological order (ex: Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome). Separating by studios, labels, genre is ocd to me. I don't get tweaked out over uniformity. The cases are blue, thick blue (UK), clear (Criterion), digibook, foreign language, and red (omg! hd dvd!)

Madmojo, you are only denying yourself of great movies that might never see a US blu-ray release or have superior foreign releases by not being region free or merely importing region free releases.

Hell, I remember asking for a decent release of Hot Summer In The City (The 70's roughie that Tarantino called "The best porno ever made") and they answered personally saying that they could buy the rights but there aren't any prints avaiable for it.

Here's an article showing their warehouses and it's utterly amazing how dedicated they are about every single release they do (Kind of NSFW warning): http://www.rockshockpop.com/forums/c...drome-Archives!
They look like a great company

Yeah, I know. I suppose I could always separate my collection into foreign blu-rays and domestic ones. I plan to go region free at some point, but don't see myself having the money to buy a new blu-ray player by the end of the year what with all the new blu-rays I want to get coming out. I've resisted imports for so long after getting so many CDs and DVDs foreign that ended up being bootlegs back in the day. Kinda turned me off of them.

Hey, I have a random question...

I'm not sure if this has been addressed yet or not, but I just got "Q: The Winged Serpent" in the mail today along with "Dark Angel" and "Q" has the Shout! logo all over it. So, does that mean it's not actually part of the Scream Factory "collection"? I was looking at all of my other SF releases (I have them all so far) and they look like they all say Scream Factory on them, with the exception of "The Incredible Melting Man". So, are they actually apart of the Scream Factory "collection" or not? It's not really a big deal, I just thought it was odd.

Its just a quality control issue. They must have missed it when they were pressing the discs.

I asked Cliff on here a few months back if there was any chance for Jack's Back,he said no.hopefully that will change.

Baka just posted in the Arrow thread that they had "The Burbs" in their trailer reel at frightfest.I know alot have requested it on here so it looks like the least you will get is a region B release.

Not to derail the thread, but region free is the way to go. Anyone can purchase a good region free player for $150 or a cheap one for $60...I own four region free players...one for every viewing station in my home.
