So we've got 4 out of 19 titles on Blu so far. Considering how slow MGM is putting these titles out onto Blu, I'm guessing it'll be quite a while before we get all 19 of these titles in one complete box set.

As nice as a set would be, I don't need them in a set, I just need them, particularly Radio Days, Crimes And Misdemeanors and Stardust Memories.

Somehow I think we'll get only two more in January. Those titles being Crimes and Misdemeanors and Bananas. Just my guess.

There's others I'd probably be suckered into purchasing, but the one I'm really hoping for in January is Love and Death.

Maybe they will start doing collection sets so they could catch up.

Love & Death and Bananas would be a perfect January announcement for me. Who currently owns Take The Money And Run? That's also at the top of my list, but I recall it being owned by another studio. Would love for Criterion or Shout to get ahold of that one!

MGM released the last DVD edition of Take the Money and Run.

I don't care what the other movie is but I sure hope the next two include Crimes and Misdemeanors.

It's probable that it's region locked. Yet it could turn out to be a Region Free release.

This wouldn't have forced subs, would it? I think I would consider ordering this and getting custom covers for each film. At less than $10 a film, it's a better deal than other import releases.

Well, I doubt this will have forced subs. It's a good deal. I'm going to put in a pre-order. I've been wanting to import several of these and they cost around $30+ each for other foreign editions on Blu-ray so this set's a good value.

Twilight Time has indicated along with Crimes and Misdemeanors there would be a bunch more Woody Allen titles coming in the near future. So I would guess that maybe we will not be seeing many more from MGM directly.

Warner Bros. has the US rights to Match Point (along with Small Time Crooks, The Curse of the Jade Scorpion, Hollywood Ending and Anything Else) so it will happen eventually.

Anyway, I asked Twilight Time (through their Facebook page) about Allen titles earlier and I have found out that several more are in the works. Nothing outside of Crimes and Misdemeanors and The Front have been confirmed but I'm guessing Bananas (with an isolated score track), Stardust Memories, The Purple Rose of Cairo, Radio Days, Husbands and Wives, Manhattan Murder Mystery and Sweet and Lowdown are among the titles being considered.

The Purple Rose of Cairo and Broadway Danny Rose are two of my favorites; I'd like for those to be released soon...

I just watched Match Point tonight. All I knew was the basic premise that's on IMDb. All I can say is, it pays to go into this one blind. I was surprised. Really good film.
