Texans OL and unique blocking scheme - the same blocking scheme that allowed the Broncos to plug in any RB and have success. Put AP, CJ, Charles, Lynch, Rice, Martin, McCoy, etc. behind the Texans line and they'd probably shatter every RB record out there.

Who was your 2nd round pick then?
haha not a chance in hell.. Greene will be stealing a lot of tds away from CJNOT2k this season... CJ has been on the downfall since his 2009 break out year.. Foster is a work horse that produces.. CJ is a wannabe

I really don't feel like pulling up the stats but you should take a lot

either way Titans will be in the running for Clowney this year with the Raiders, Jets and Jags

I'm liking our rookie Denard Robinson who had an outstanding preseason. He's been getting a lot of touches from the backfield and at WR. Playmakers we need badly and I think this guy has potential and hopefully turn some heads this season. I think Robinson will relieve a lot of pressure off of a inconsistent Gabbert and even MJD on 3rd downs.

I would keep Gordon. While he's out the first 2 games once he's back he will be by far the Browns #1 receiver and should be a solid play. I would keep him over Vincent Brown, Sydney Rice, or Emmanuel Sanders.

Lol dude you're just trying to make yourself feel better about the Raiders. And when CJ ends up with more FF points and Foster looks like the 2008 version of Jamaal Lewis, I'll be back to remind you. haha

We are not in the running for Clowney. We were worse than ever before last year at 6-10. Now our OL has been completely revamped. We cannot be worse than last year. It's simply not possible.

At least half of Locker and CJ's struggles were do to the OL (which was literally the 2nd worst behind only the Cardinals').

It's easy for fans of another team to take a look at his stats (especially game to game the last couple seasons) and say CJ sucks. But I'm at all the games... He's had nowhere to run. The OL has been opening huge holes for him this preseason and he's been hitting those holes and taking what's there every time.

Not sure how CJ is a wannabe... He's had arguably the fastest start for any RB in NFL history. 6,888 yards, 4.7 YPC, and 44 TDs in his first 5 seasons! That's the more rushing yards than any NFL player (other than Emmitt) had in their first 5 seasons. I've been a huge CJ critic at times. I didn't want to pay him the big money (and I still say he's way overpaid) because I figured he'd be the type of back to lose a step quickly and become expendable after a few seasons. But he's never missed a game. He's durable as hell.

We are 7-9 at worst, man.

Good to know. I guess it's Blackmon that's out 4 games?

Definitely keeping Gordon then.

CJ has been declining drastically since his 2009 season, yea he played decent in 2010, but played pretty bad in 2011 and 2012.. maybe you're confusing yourself with "CJ" as in spiller

also as long as Jake Locker is under center the Titans will always be in the run for worst in the league

CJ2K had 1 really good season but once he got paid he stopped caring which seems to be a pretty typical response to a big paycheck in the NFL.

Again, here's this baseless hate for Jake Locker. Has he proven to be a quality QB? No. Has he proven to be a bad QB? No. He's only started 11 games!!! My God...

Let's take a look at a couple of NFL QBs in their first 11 starts...

QB #1
-- 2-9 record
-- 16.1 PPG
-- Average margin of defeat: 11 points (average loss of 27-16)
-- 223/407 (54.8%), 2453 yards, 17 TD, 22 INT, 6.2 avg, 64.2 passer rating

QB #2
-- 4-7 record
-- 19.5 PPG
-- Average margin of defeat: 9 points (average loss of 28-19)
-- 177/314 (56.4%), 2176 yards, 10 TD, 11 INT, 6.9 avg, 74 passer rating

Which one do you think is Jake Locker? Can you take a stab at who the other might be? I'll give you a hint... one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game, and he's still in the league.

Couldn't be further from the truth. CJ has a massive ego. He wants to be the best ever. He cares. How you can dispute the fact that only one player in the history of the NFL (Emmitt Smith - the NFL's all time leading rusher) had more yards in their first 5 seasons in the league than CJ is beyond me.

Two things are clear to me. 1) You guys have rarely seen the Titans play and make judgments based off stats alone. 2) You guys are totally unaware of what additions our team has made and just how bad our OL was last year.

Some of the baseless opinions I'm hearing are perfect examples of why the Titans have been and always will be one of the most hated, overlooked teams in the NFL due to being in a small market... either way, since 1999 when we became the Titans we rank 7th in the NFL in wins. Not too shabby.

I love all the hate, guys! Keep it coming!

One last thing... Here's what Jake Locker's career stats looked like before he separated his shoulder:

57/98 (58.2&), 771 yards, 5 TD, 1 INT, 8.0 avg, 97.4 passer rating

Don't take it personally, it's nothing against the Titans. It's just that some people in here only care about their teams and like to throw opinions about other players/teams based on nothing just to make it look like they know a thing or 2 about football...

I do know a thing or two about football, the general perception of CJ2K is that he's a 1 dimensional under-sized runningback that doesn't always try. Of COURSE a Titans fan will think more of him than that, they don't really have much to get excited about most years in that division with Indy and Houston.

I know plenty about all teams out there as well... and I definitely know a thing or two about football.

I'm simply defending some of my team's players. That's all. What if someone came in here right now and said:

"As long as Tannehill is QB, the Dolphins will be competing to be the worst team."
"Don't worry... the Dolphins will be in the running for Clowney too."

Lol... would you not defend them?

Dude I am about as fair of a fan as you can find. I won't hype up any Titans player unless I have a reason to.

I can easily name some starters on our team who I hate and/or suck... and I'm not sitting here saying "Titans are going to cruise to an AFC South title and go all the way!"

CJ is 1 dimensional. That's correct... but he's explosive and durable.

To say he doesn't try is incorrect though. And if you want to believe it to be true, then believe it for all NFL RBs then.

I refuse to defend Tony Choke-o, 9 years of him in Dallas is enough for me. The guy is a decent QB unless you need to count on him to win you games then he falls apart. He's probably good enough to be a QB that takes you where you want to go on a more talented team but his polarizing playstyle drives me absolutely berserk at times and as long as he's in Dallas my expectations for the team will usually be about 8 wins a year.

That's a totally different situation though... He's been around for 9 years. Jake Locker has been under center for 11 games. Why should anyone give up on him when his first 11 starts were better than Peyton Manning's first 11 starts?

I actually think Romo will have a good season and the Cowboys will win that division this year... we'll see.
