“And so I think as you compare and contrast Nintendo with other players in the space, for us it’s about games, about the fun, about the entertainment value, and not about the tech.”

Mario is 2.0 PCM & Lego is 5.1 (maybe 7.1) PCM.

Lego is still my favourite. If Nintendo bombs I hope that game comes to PS4.

Contrary to what butthurt fanboys say, Reggie is actually right. PS4 and One's launch line up is "meh." Just more of the same, and the people who buy it turn around and complain how Nintendo always has more of the same. Oh, but of course, it looks good, so apparently all is forgiven.

The video game industry is becoming way too bloated for its own good.

I think the problem depend most on who is saying it.

To say PS4 and Xbox One has "meh" launch titles, is subjective, as it is form by opinion.

However, to say they are "meh" but bring up how good Nintendo upcoming titles are this holiday, that implies the comparison between launch titles to non-launch titles. Which is unfair by any standard. Opinion or not.

Not to mention from a person (Reggie) of his position, that makes his rep seems less credible.

The PS4 and Xbone both have an amazing launch lineup. I still say Nintendo would be in a lot better shape if they would have had a new Zelda ready to go for the systems launch. They didn't and decided to rush the console to market. If they would have started working on the next Zelda title a few years ago and took the extra year to polish it up and put it as a launch title with a console launch around the same period this year as the PS4 and Xbone they might not be in the situation they are. As far as I know the Wii was still doing decent numbers when the WiiU debited on the market and that only hurt them more.

Nintendo used to be relevant... they completely lost my interest starting with the Gamecube. Seems that they used to be a leader in providing leading technology and desirable games... both have went to the wayside by focusing on "innovative" gimmicky controls and easily-accessible games.

The GameCube was a pretty cool console, the controller wasn't the best, but was spades better than the N64 one. Had some great games on it (Twilight Princess was the shizit along with a few other ones), but they didn't focus on online gaming, too toy-ish design and all-around too focused on first-party games rather than including more third-party support. The Wii is pretty decent console, the design of it is sleek and tight, responsive motion controls (Just needed an adapter for the Power Glove.....) and some classic games. 3rd Party support was increased, more focus on the Internet-based multiplayer and a slightly more powerful graphics card, still a lot of the 3rd party games were half-a$$ed ports with a huge drop in graphics, sound and sometimes online was dropped entirely. The Wii U seems like a step forward, with some pretty good ports such as BLOPS II, but still will be in last place this generation. Still gonna get one to have the whole PSWii1!!!!!!!!

We "Nintendo" focus on games, not the tech, like they focused on games and not telling us how cool motion controls were for the Wii or the Wii U, yeah right Reggie.
