I just got done watching Predator again and I just have to ask... Is this THE guy movie or what?

Definitely a classic - no doubt about it.

There's a few that might give it a run for its money though.

Never seen it, but trying hard to find it. For some odd reason there is a slot for them at the store, but none in them.

I'll vote once I see it, but I've enjoyed other movies like this, so I'm sure I'll like this one too. True Lies was a good guy movie (hell, you had a striptease scene), and I think Predator would be on there too, but I'll judge it after I view it. Now to just find it.

upgraded my VHS tape with the special edition dvd a few years ago. great movie! they just don't make em like this anymore

Unless they are males of a...quote, unquote - alternative lifestyle. Well, girly men. My old DivX copy (what? I was a broke youth some years ago) - will finally be replaced. Huzzah.

Even those "alternative lifestyle" dudes should like it for the eye-candy (gross) at least. I just can't wrap my mind around how people cannot like this awesome kick-ass-make-no-apologies flick. This is the movie that made want to go Delta.

agreed , goodfells is all about guys relationships in real life and how to get over them with out getting killed lol , this is a sci-fi , maby this is THE guy movie if you'r a geeky sci-fi fan then yeah it is

both predator and aliens are the ultimate guy movies. As much as I like Predator, I like Aliens better.

I dunno guys, I watched Terminator 2 the other day for the first time in 8 years and it is basically flawless as an action movie. I guess I shouldn't have been---but I was suprised that I enjoyed it just as much as I did when I was young. Probably even a bit more.

Maybe it should be almost any early Ah-nold movie ranks as some of the top guy movies with some exceptions. Let's not forget about Die Hards, or my personal fav, Dirty Harry.

true Guy movies are not supposed to be Oscar winners. Goodfellas is amazing but are there good one liners that you can say to inspire a one liner fight with the other guys when at the water cooler at work? no.
