It happened several times until I got tired of it, stopped the disc, turned off the player. When I started playing it it started diong it again at the same point. This kept happening on and off until the movie was over.

Did anyone else notice something like this on their version?

Oh no. Not another defective blu-ray disc! At least you can watch the digital copy on your computer or iPad.
