In US is usually released months later just as new season due to start to remote it to viewers. In Spartacus case obviously ended but again needed time for extras. Was silly they failed to wait in UK as for most US BD like Game f Thrones etc they wait. |

Does it have all the extras the US has including being uncut and all the episodes extended?
Where can you order it for the best price? By the way i might say that the UK release is perhaps the dumbest release of dumb releases. Their greed not to wait for a US release because they wanted to be first but they waited for the other 3 seasons but not this final season is just mind boggling stupid Last edited by mredman; 09-06-2013 at 11:24 PM. |

You can get it off Ebay for about £38 shipped, i made the mistake of pre-ordering the ''complete collection'' so i will wait for it to drop to about £20 before i buy it. Funny how the UK version is on 4 discs but the US and Aussie versions have 3 discs but have extras and subtitles. |

It's an exclusive for JB Hi-Fi, but they ship overseas as well. It might be worth comparing costs to whatever you find on ebay, but be warned that overseas postage from Australia is pretty expensive! ![]() Anyway, you can see it here. |

It's the same as they did with the first two seasons of The Walking Dead (well, here in Australia, anyway — I assumed it might be the same in the UK, but maybe not) — they crammed the episodes onto fewer discs than the US set, lowered the audio to a lossy encode and jettisoned commentaries and the like.
I wonder if they're really just trading on many people's lack of awareness of buying options to sell a lower-cost local option, but among people who know something about BDs, I would suggest that what they made up in reduced materials costs they more than lost in annoyed fans refusing to buy the local product. :shrugs: |
