Damn thats just stupid they would rather rush the UK Release then wait for the US to put extras on. Crap

Could this maybe be re-released with the same extras as the US when they release it there?

Its because in UK normal business practice is to release the DVD or BD week after run ends on TV so show still fresh in viewers mind.

In US is usually released months later just as new season due to start to remote it to viewers. In Spartacus case obviously ended but again needed time for extras. Was silly they failed to wait in UK as for most US BD like Game f Thrones etc they wait.

I have this, and yeah - no extras. The episodes are extended, though. Amazing series!

Does it have all the extras the US has including being uncut and all the episodes extended?

Where can you order it for the best price?

By the way i might say that the UK release is perhaps the dumbest release of dumb releases. Their greed not to wait for a US release because they wanted to be first but they waited for the other 3 seasons but not this final season is just mind boggling stupid

Yes it has the same extras as the US and the episodes are uncut and extended.

You can get it off Ebay for about £38 shipped, i made the mistake of pre-ordering the ''complete collection'' so i will wait for it to drop to about £20 before i buy it.

Funny how the UK version is on 4 discs but the US and Aussie versions have 3 discs but have extras and subtitles.

To add to what Benson85 has posted, the Australian release is identical to the US release in content, and uses the same digibook packaging as the previous seasons. No cuts, all the same extras. AU$46.98 = GB£27.62.

It's an exclusive for JB Hi-Fi, but they ship overseas as well. It might be worth comparing costs to whatever you find on ebay, but be warned that overseas postage from Australia is pretty expensive!

Anyway, you can see it here.

Screw it i think i will buy the UK release.
Its missing some short features and audio commentaries. I think i can live with that

I hear ALL 10 episodes is extended as well like on the US right?
Is the PQ and AQ good on the set?

thanks a lot for the confirmation. Still weird though that they did not put any extras on. When all 10 episodes is extended you would assume they would have access to at least the commentaries then

It's the same as they did with the first two seasons of The Walking Dead (well, here in Australia, anyway — I assumed it might be the same in the UK, but maybe not) — they crammed the episodes onto fewer discs than the US set, lowered the audio to a lossy encode and jettisoned commentaries and the like.

I wonder if they're really just trading on many people's lack of awareness of buying options to sell a lower-cost local option, but among people who know something about BDs, I would suggest that what they made up in reduced materials costs they more than lost in annoyed fans refusing to buy the local product. :shrugs:

I think the walking dead season 1 from UK does have extras but its cut that was the problem and season 2 i think is missing some extras but its uncut and walking dead should be the same as the US set i think.

But isnt the UK set for War of the Damned 4 discs while the US only have 3 discs
