No, he had it right the first time around. Fast Five was officially the adrenaline boost that Fast & Furious was meant to be, but unfortunately wasn't. Just because you add the original cast into an action film doesn't mean it's going to be an automatic success, especially if you're planning to "off" a major character only 20-30 minutes into the film.

I was hoping that Kurt Russell was going to be in Expendables 3, since he was in Tango & Cash, Big Trouble in Little China, and he's Snake Plisskin!

But this is just as good. And if Tony Jaa is in it... This franchise needs Terry Crews!

I'm surprised how much I enjoy this franchise, and we're heading to 7 now. Maybe they'll end this franchise with the crew up against
[Show spoiler]Tom Cruise.

I would love to see the TD cast in it, even if they had small cameo roles.

I speak of the latter. Fast Five was simply the better "reunion" movie.

Twilight was a box office success as well. Shall we call it the best cinematic experience of all-time while we're at it?

Apparently this film is having a scene shot right near me, on the PIkes Peak Highway. This is so awesome... the one thing I am scared about is, should I be worried that James Wan isn't here?

James Wan is among my biggest heroes and I would love to meet him or something. But I heard the case that is here is all stunt doubles... does that also mean the director will not be here?

doesn't mean anything, could be the second unit and the work they do is as good as the first, it's just a designation really

So does that mean the director, James Wan, is likely not here?

Fast Five completely broke the mold for the worse. They forgot to put racing in it, and therefore it was a fail. 4 and the current part 6 were better films.

Pretty sure there was a multi-police car race in Fast Five. As well as the getaway chase scene at the end. And a fail, it was not.

I contacted the leader of communications for Pikes Peak, so hopefully I'll hear back from her and my enthusiasm to meet my hero will push her to confirm if James Wan is here or not.

If I see a tiny Malaysian fellow that is speaking Australian, I will definitely say hi.

Vin Diesel confirms Kurt Russell for Fast and Furious 7 and 8
http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/vin-diese...182400998.html

Quote:
Nathalie Emmanuel has been cast in Fast & Furious 7, out from Universal next July. The studio is keeping character descriptions under wraps, but a source close to the James Wan-directed project says Emmanuel will be part of the pedal to the metal team led by Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel. The British actress is currently seen on HBO’s Game of Thrones in the recurring role of Missandei, personal aide to exiled princess Daenerys Targaryen.

Speaking to Extra, Diesel explained "There is a very big rumor that Kurt Russell will come in, and because it's you, I'll give you a little more… the eighth script in the series is somewhat akin to 'Escape from New York.' This won't make sense now, but it will make sense later. Kurt Russell was the perfect person to introduce in '7' to play out the eighth storyline that everyone is going to go crazy on."
That sounds awesome!
