Bobby Petrino is not better than Mark Richt. And I don't believe they can get anybody they want. They offered their own alum Kirby Smart double his salary to be their DC, and he told them no. Now, they could probably get him as the HC, but he's not a proven HC.

Lateral move. UGA is a great job with unreal recruiting advantages. Bobby P is a great coach. Horrible person but great coach.

He's a decent coach. Plus, do you really think the UGA fans, who are for the most part also huge Falcons fans, want anything to do with Petrino? He's a quitter in this state.

Richt has been way better at UGA than any coach has ever been at Clemson. UGA's down years have matched some of your best years.

Richt has 1 conference championship and has top 10 recruiting classes for the past 10 years. CU has won a NC since UGA. CU just beat UGA and LSU back to back. And UGA wasn't a top 10 recruiting team until Richt. And Richt won 2 conference titles in the first 4 years with the school, before SEC completely dominated college football. Clemson isn't exactly winning conference championships against LSU, Florida or Alabama. You know, teams that have won 6 of the last 7 national championships.

You said first 4 years. You ignored my since 2008 comment. Richt sucks as a coach. Did you see the end of the SEC CG last year? Even his QB knew what to do but he didn't. UGA can do better but I'm glad they think he's the best. SEC has won 7 but UGA is not one of them and with him there they never will. He can't win a big game against a good team with good coaching. They get out coached often.

You can't compare Dabo's first 5 years to the selective last 10 years. It's ignoring Richt's previous history and the strength of the SEC during that time. Notice Clemson wasn't winning anything when the ACC was strong.

The only team I see in every year is UGA. What do they have to show for it? That's my point. He's not a championship level coach. What service are those rankings from? My top 10 comment is Rivals rankings.
