i really dislike how often Giants and Cowboys games are in prime time. I get it, huge markets, huge audiences, but it seems like we see this twice a year every single year. gets old

I would be pissed if he was happy. Players like him feel like they can only contribute through the stat sheet. Thing is, we signed him to catch passes and open up the field, and Hartline and Gibson were open all afternoon, both combined for 16/191, thanks to Wallace stretching the field. Joe Haden was in his pants all game long and he's one of the best CB in the league, of course Wallace was frustrated.

Perehaps but who cares when we watch our fave teams as long as we get to watch 'em. I'd rather watch the Browns on Sunday afternoon as opposed to Sunday night as work comes early on Monday. With our continued skid, that should never be a problem for me.

Holy crap... You could not have misunderstood me any more!

I never once compared Locker to Peyton. That's absurd. He will never be Peyton, and he will likely not be the answer for us at QB. And if he is our long-term solution, he'd probably never be better than average.

My point was that every single person on the planet was ready to write him off after 11 starts even though in those 11 starts, he posted better numbers than Peyton Manning.

Peyton sucked big ole donkey shlong when he came into the league, and now he's one of the best ever. Locker obviously isn't as talented as Peyton in terms of QB ability, but he is more talented athletically.

There's just no reason to give up on Locker yet. McNair was awful and took 4-5 seasons to be a serviceable QB too, btw.

And the Raiders did surprise me... just not as much as the Jets. I don't think much of Luck and the Colts, so that's why I overlooked that one.
