No. 30 years from now I doubt Argo will be held in high regard or be discussed like other films from 2012 like The Master, Django Unchained, and Amour.
An entertaining film despite its historical inaccuracies. But no best picture. |

Yep, though I feel most of the 2010s winners will not be remembered as much as their nominees. Argo is my favorite of the 2010 winners so far. Out of the 2012 nominees I would have gone for Zero Dark Thirty, but The Master wins in my book. I'm just glad Les Miserables or Lincoln didn't win

Yeah. It's almost like it was the majority winner out of a large group of people who have different qualifications/reasoning about film and what 'Best Picture' is. I'm always super surprised when it isn't the same thing I pick.
