As for the emails, again, this is an extremely small company and they are probably getting slammed with all the people that are used to dealing with Amazon(being near perfect) and wanting to know: Where's my stuff. Everyone, except you apparently, knew the 9/13 date was off the table when the delay happened. How is this hard to understand?
It happens. My goddness some people you just can't please no matter what!
He's not "my guy" - he's just a dude that answered the phone when I called over a billing issue and he gave me some info - I'm not claiming he was correct. I'm just saying it's odd how he said that. And we know there has already been delays. Maybe they made enough for the signing but are still pressing the ones ordered through the CLM site? Anyways, it''s not a big deal to me that I don't have it today - I am patient. I just wish the communication was better.

Well based on pics being posted, we can file that guy's intel as total bunk, unless they worked around the clock to get the discs printed...which I higly doubt.

Giving them my cash shows I'm grateful. Same as every other online order and stuff I buy in-store for any company. If any company, small or large, wants me to kiss their ass in gratitude them they better "go the extra mile".

I don't know what it's like in the US but here in the UK a business of any kind needs to be really at the top of its game given the economic climate of recent years.
People just won't accept and rightly shouldn't accept poor to average service. Everyone works hard for their pay and if I choose to spend my pay on Company A rather than Company B then Company A better pull out all the stops.

But I suspect a company who has a very collectible niche product like this feel they can do business how they want- that's the issue for some.

No shipping notification for me yet. Not having a meltdown, but I do think the people who ordered it within minutes after preordering began have a right to be aggravated that they might be getting it later. That's sort of like camping out for tickets to a big show and then the next morning when the box office opens they say, "Okay, it's opposite day and we're going to start with the back of the line."

At least 400 were presigned yesterday for tonight's event. I doubt thats all they had pressed at one time. Either way, most of us are waiting until next week at the earliest.

Nope. Horrible example, as you don't know how the orders stacked out. I'm sure they will work on a "first come/first serve" basis, it only makes sense. It's just going to take some time, that's all.
It's called being patient. The signing, evidently, started last night and will continue through today. Order will, most likely, starting being marked for shipment(that doesn't mean they are physically on the truck) Monday or Tuesday.

Again people, very small company dealing with a very large order. They are not Amazon. Be patient. Gheeeesh!

I also haven't received a shipping notification, and I preordered on the first day it became available. I hope it'll happen soon! Can't wait to watch it.

It seems like we're hearing people who ordered it more recently are getting shipping notices and some of those who ordered it out the gate don't have one. So it's a valid comparison in that respect, although no, it's of course not the same commitment to send an online order in at about 12:20 a.m. than to "camp out." Hey, I might get a notification before the end of the day and if the order went out with the others who already got their notification, cool. Like I said, not having a meltdown. If it transpires differently, though, and it's proves to not be "first come, first served," it's disappointing. I'm not bothered about not having it in time for "Friday the 13th," just would be nice to get to watch it over the weekend since I've been excited about it for awhile and it's not always easy to find 7 hours during a regular work week.

Not to piss off anymore early adopters, but I ordered on July 9th in the morning and got my shipping notice last night at 3:02am. Perhaps it has to do with how people paid? I paid by paypal (using my credit card) and so they've had my payment for a very long time now. Perhaps the people who paid but credit card by not paypal (and thus haven't paid yet) automatically fell behind those of us that paid using paypal. It would make some sense that they'd send these out to the people that have already transferred the funds.

I wasn't aware that $10 international shipping fee was a mistake on their behalf that was supposed to be getting removed/refunded! Could you link me to any details regarding this? I would appreciate it greatly.

I used my Paypal credit balance, so I'm not sure if Paypal improves your chances. I suspect I'll see the notification sometime today, though (hopefully).

Have you tried contacting them through FB? You can also send them a dispute requesting that the shipping be refunded on paypal.

They contacted me back within 24 hours after I privately messaged them and got the refund.

I used Paypal when I ordered mine back on July 7. No shipping notice as of yet.

I couldn't care less that I'm not gonna receive it today....being in the UK, I knew this would be the case anyway. Watching it on Fri 13th isn't going to make it more of a pleasurable experience than watching it tomorrow or next week, nothing magical is going to happen.
Grow up you whinging slags.

It's only a mistake if you live in the US and they charged you.

Sorry, but this is treating fans like crap.
I'm not sure if you're referring to my post, but if you are I never said I ordered last night at 4:00am, I said I received a shipment notice last night at 4:00am. I preordered the 1st day it when up for sale.

It wasn't available to pre-order on July 7th, but I get your point. Paypal payments apparently had nothing to do with how they were processed either. The mystery lives on...
